    Olympic Medals By Population →

    With China and the U.S. dominating the Olympic medal table as expected, I couldn’t help but think it’d be more interesting to see how countries are doing with respect to their population size. After all, a small country will never be able to produce the sheer number of athletes and medal winners that China does. Luckily, a quick Google search turned up exactly what I was looking for, and at the time of writing New Zealand is topping the medals by population table with 1.6 medals per million citizens. Go Kiwis!
